In situations where a nurse is confronted with allegations of failing to provide essential medical care, a nurse attorney becomes an indispensable advocate. They can scrutinize the circumstances surrounding the alleged failure, review medical records, and construct a robust defense to address the specific concerns raised.

Subsequently, the patient did not receive the transfusion until transferred to the medical floor approximately five (5) hours later. RN’s conduct was likely to injure the patient from adverse complications of anemia, including hypotension.
In response, RN states she was ordered to administer the blood transfusion. RN also states due to the condition of RN’s other patients, the Charge Nurse told her the blood transfusion could wait.
